Terranova
This was conceived as an inviting home for a family with four daughters. Formal living spaces, contemporary and striking, with bronze on gold and monochromatic palettes, conveyed warmth and drama. The calming earthy, neutral palette of the family room suggested rest and relaxation. Here, artwork blended with family photographs. Picture-height-and-width windows and doors revealed olive trees recalling the Greek heritage of the family.
Terranova
A Brazilian artist transformed walls and ceilings in textured bronze, gold, silver, and champagne. Bamboo silk custom rugs in pale mossy greens, soft golds and strong blacks, tied rooms together. Staircases were accented in marble and the inspirational study in a wealth of sage greens, golds and silvers, with a warm bronze mirror and custom leather pieces. The four children’s bedrooms were designed to convey the unique spirit of each sister. All had in-built joinery, contrasting colours and co-ordinating bathrooms.
